When we picked Georgie up after his surgery he would not stop cleaning his face! They told us that he was still coming off the drugs from his operation, so we can only imagine what was going through his mind!

Sir Georgie and the Family Jewels
Today marked a big day in Georgie's life: he was neutered. He is back in the apartment now, still a little groggy, but we are keeping him company and making sure that he recovers well from the surgery. This cat's been through a lot these past few weeks, but he's still extremely friendly and affectionate.
One important implication of Georgie's neuter surgery is that he is now fully ready to be adopted. If you would like to open your home to Georgie, please contact us!

Georgie Loves to be Pet!
One of my favorite things about Georgie is that he is very nice about letting people pet him. As you can see here, he definitely enjoys it too! Ever since we first saw him, Georgie has been sweet to everyone around him. Now he is feeling better and has his energy back, but is still the relaxed, super friendly cat we met just ten days ago!

Georgie's Ears
Georgie has been with us for a little over a week now, and he is feeling much better! He is a very friendly and cuddly cat who loves to spend time curled up in our laps.
One of the things that makes Georgie unique is his ears. When he came to the shelter, he was diagnosed with a pair of painful ear hematomas. When these hematomas healed, they changed the shape of his ears a little bit. His unique ears are adorable and are healed up, so they do not bother him anymore. Now, he kind of looks like a Scottish Fold!

Georgie's Journey
Georgie is a two year old cat from the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) who is being fostered by Josh, Zoe, and Ammu (that's me!).
Georgie was getting sick at the shelter, so we brought him home with us today to give him a warm, homey place to get better. We will keep you posted here about what's new with Georgie.
If you are interested in adopting Georgie and giving him a permanent, loving home, please contact us!
